Ultrasurf works with Firefox--one simply needs to download the firefox plugin. Also, there's an option to disallow the automatic startup of IE after booting up Ultrasurf.

Best:

- Works with IE and Firefox
- Quick bootup
- No ads, built-in monetization scheme

Worst:

- Browser-based proxy solution
- Still no support for Chrome
- Slow in comparison to Hotspot Shield, another free vpn service
- Clunky (Windows 3.1-esque) interface
